“Ganapath – A Hero is Born” is a convoluted action film that vacillates between conflicting themes, resulting in a cliché-ridden mess. Directed and written by Vikas Bahl, the movie struggles to find a consistent tone, veering between futuristic and medieval elements, and resembling a mishmash of “Mad Max” and “Warrior,” or “Shamshera” and “Brahmastra.” Despite its aspirations to launch a super-fighter franchise, it falls short due to a lack of coherence and firepower. The protagonist’s journey mirrors the film’s inconsistency, switching between a kickboxing arena and the dance floor of the “Dirty People Club.” In essence, it fails to deliver a cohesive and engaging cinematic experience.
