Navghar police have arrested 3 accused who deceived youths by promising them jobs in
abroad. The accused had taken Rs. 79,000 from Pawan Singh, a resident of Punjab, on the
pretext of arranging a job in abroad through a placement company in Bhayandar.
Pawan filed a complaint with the police regarding this matter.
During the investigation, Navghar police found out that several youths had been similarly
deceived in the name of providing jobs abroad. Considering the seriousness of the case,
the police intensified their investigation and arrested three accused named
1) Abrar Ahmad Mukhtar Shah alias Ashfak 2) Wasim alias Sahil Yaseen Shah
3) Mohammad Tariq alias Faizal Qadri Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui.
The police have recovered Rs. 6 lakh 2 thousand and approximately 149 passports
from the accused.
